Primary School programmes range from Primary 1 to Primary 6.

 

 

Our courses are based on a proprietary syllabus approved by the Ministry of Education (MOE) of Singapore. Students will progress from simple to more complex Chinese characters and move towards applying and analyzing them. In this stage, learning is more intensive, and we use more interactive teaching techniques and encourage collaborative learning. We designed the courses to meet the needs of different age groups and abilities. All classes are fun and engaging.

This programme is based on the latest MOE syllabus with a focus on language skills including Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.

 

This encompasses:
Listening — Children listen to short stories or songs and/or watch short video clips

Speaking — Children are given hypothetical/real-life situations and present their views/thoughts.

Reading — Children are encouraged to read/understand short stories, idioms, and famous proverbs.
 

Writing — Children are taught creative writing; encouraged to be aspiring young authors.
 

In addition, the core curriculum is supplemented by

• Han Yu Pin Yin 

• Advanced Vocabulary 

• Grammar and Sentence Structure

• Assessment for Learning and Assessment of Learning (AFL & AOL）

• Intensive PSLE Drill and Practice

 

We also strongly believe in a more encompassing learning
framework and would include non-core programmes like

• Understanding the Chinese culture 

• Speech and Drama

• Creative Story Telling and Writing
